Australia is really, really not a place people should be living in. It’s hot and largely inhospitable, there are bushfires, there are floods, and pretty much every animal on this continent is out to get us. But Australians as a whole are a “CHALLENGE ACCEPTED~” kind of people, so we’re living here anyway, and most of the time, it’s pretty great. Every now and then though, we could use some help. North Queensland has been flooding since before Christmas. The floods have now spread to the capital, Brisbane. 12 are confirmed dead, thousands of people are being evacuated (including my aunt and uncle and their kids - who are safe, thankfully), and it’s only getting worse. If you can, donate, if you can’t, spread the word, because every little bit will help.
